Maklouba
Maklouba, or ‘Victory dish’, is a traditional Palestinian dish that dates back to the 12th Century AD. It was first prepared when the famous Muslim General Salahuddin Al- Ayyubid (‘Saladin’) captured Jerusalem from the crusaders in 1187.
